Lincoln Public Schools staff will learn about creating calm classrooms. Topics include: the importance of calm classrooms, physical structures, how a teacher’s physical presence and behavior can impact the calmness of the environment, steps for modeling and teaching calming strategies, and proactive classroom procedures and routines can promote predictability, consistency, and calmness.
