Participants will learn how to apply critical thinking guidelines to case information and supervision. Topics include: applying basic critical thinking concepts, analyzing personal assumptions and biases, identifying typical thinking errors of workers, and using critical thinking concepts in supervision.
The minimum number of participants needed for this unit is 6, maximum is 12. Consult your supervisor if you are interested in taking this unit.

Estimated Unit Duration: 3 Hours Face to Face
Participants will learn how Structured Decision Making (SDM) assessments are used to drive case management decisions. Topics include: the history of the SDM Model, terms and definitions associated with SDM, how each assessment is completed and what decision is determined from the assessment, what information the worker utilizes in completing the assessments, and the types of hearings where an assessment may be discussed and how to formulate questions regarding an SDM assessment.
The minimum number of participants needed for this unit is 5, maximum is 20. You will need an enrollment key to register for this unit.
